First and foremost, I like to cook and eat, I think everyone does. However, in order to do such a task, I need groceries. What a pain? I have to go get on the bus and make my way to Publix. This kind of takes the fun out of cooking for yourself. But what if there was a service that delivered the exact groceries I needed to my door. What if there was an app that all you had to do was find a recipe and then click order and all the ingredients were delivered to you. In my opinion this would be fantastic for college students without vehicles but I wanted to find out for sure. So, I interviewed recent customers from the nearest Winn-Dixie and here are the questions I asked:
1. What is your name and are you from Gainesville?
2. Did you bring a car?
3. On a scale of 1-10 can you rate your shopping experience today?
4. Were you able to find everything you needed with ease?
5. What if I told you that you the groceries you just bought could be delivered to you?
6. Would this service make things easier?
After the interviews I conducted I concluded that this service would probably be of help to many college students, especially those without cars. It seems to me that college students (myself included) not mind the task of cooking, therefore, by making an app that could display recipes and such and have the ability to have those ingredients delivered to them would make grocery stores in Gainesville earn even more of a profit.
Interviewing people was definitely a different thing. I enjoyed the experience because I truly like to hear other people's comments, especially on ideas that I create. I think at first people are nervous about the interview because they don't want to say the wrong thing but once a few questions are asked, they are good and able to answer more.
Hey Kevin! I loved watching your interviews. I think you might have a really great idea coming along! I would love to have my groceries delivered because I don't have a car. I enjoyed the interviewing experience as well. I think I learned a lot about customer interactions and it was really good practice for the future. Here's a link to my interviews:
