1. Terrorism
- Terrorism is the most serious problem right now because it affects all other problems. If we eliminate terrorism we can then solve other problems like hunger and oil prices.
2. Obesity
- This is the second most serious problem because parents are uneducated about potential risks with childhood obesity. It could lead to life of depression for our youth who will one day be the intelligent mind of our society
3. Media Exploitation
- Exploitation by the media ranks third on my list because people do not realize how bad this problem is. Everyday the media is broadcasting new stories in order to create stimulation within certain industries, making this a unfair advantage.
4. Credit theft
- With society becoming more technologically advance, payment methods are becoming more insecure with all the digital purchasing technology. It seems the more advance a payment option is, the more insecure it is.
5. Ignorance
-This problem may not rank the most serious but it definitely irritates me the most. The problem is that people don't experience. They take other people's experiences and use them as their own.
Top 5 Implementable solutions:
1. The most implementable solution would be to secure payment methods. Like I said technology is very advanced therefore we could just make a system of security networks to harvest all the data.
2. The second most implementable solution would be to solve phone absorption. We could just create cell phone limits on data packages in order to restrain people from using their phones so often.
3. The third most implementable solution would be to solve media exploitation, we could just create laws on new shows on what they are and are not allowed to broadcast.
4. In surprise, one of the more probable to implement solutions would be to stop terrorism, all we simply have to do is capture the terrorist and disband their cause.
5. The fifth most implementable solution would be to solve poverty. With fiscal monetary policy the federal government can easily generate a money supply for the impoverished. Their may be some unhappy fellows though.
Hey Kevin! Your top five problems of the world list is really great. I also believe that terrorism is a really big problem in the world today and making us feel less secure all the time. I totally agree with you on ignorance being another problem. It just seems so horrible that the young minds who will be our great thinkers in the future are too busy on social media and being ignorant to society. I also like your solutions, the most important one being to secure payment methods. Not too long ago my debit card was hacked and there were so many purchases that I didn't make. I was upset because so many of my transactions on a day to day basis are online.

Hi Kevin! I found your list of the world's top five problems really interesting. Unlike others, yours was made up of a majority of things I hadn't even thought of. I also think that people being too addicted to their phones is going to be an increasingly big problem in the years to come. Also, credit theft is of course a major problem as well. My sister and her husband both had their credit card numbers tracked from a gas station in the same week. This is an unacceptable and scary problem we all face today.
